CEO brings in strong COO, new skill sets to keep ACA moving forward Yep Richard Yep remembers some of the American Counseling Association's darkest days, in the mid-1990s when the group struggled to keep the lights on and earn members' trust. His political skills and longtime dedicated staffers helped keep ACA going through that time, and since then as the profession and the association model continued to evolve.
